We can’t wait to bring your our 2025 week long Summer School Dance Spectacular - A Fusion. Every year we run an action packed summer school and this year will be no different. It’s another of our favorite styles of summer school - A Fusion. There will be something for everyone from young dancers to more experienced students. Be sure to book your place early as summer school books up quickly. It’s one of our favorite times of the year.
Our successful summer school is in it’s 16th year - previous themes in the past have been inspired by Lion King, Moana, Hero’s & Villains and many other musicals. Now we bring you a magical fusion of Dance & Acrobatics!
Dancing Academy hold a summer school week of dance, signing, acting and crafts every year for all DA students who wish to participate. This event is designed for all dancers of any level and ability. It provides an opportunity for students to immerse themselves in dance, singing and acting and learn within a creative environment. The week will enhance students’ dance through a range of techniques and culminates in a performance on the final day of the course. Each year we have visiting guest artists with professional industry experience.
Highlights of the week include:
All students will receive a summer school t-shirt on the first day of the course
Experience a variety of dance styles including commercial, musical theatre, jazz and develop your skills in the performing arts
Teaching by professional teachers with years of experience within the industry
End of week performance for family and friends
Opportunities to share fun activities and crafts with both old and new friends
Boost confidence, self esteem and teamwork
8.45-3pm Monday - Thursday
8.45-5.30pm Friday
Performance at 5pm
Students must be 5 years or older to attend Summer School Week.
