PRICING INFORMATION
Dancing Academy Fees - January 2024 onwards
(Please note direct debit fees are collected for ALL 12 months of the year to keep the monthly costs lower)
Administration fee for new enrollments from 1st September 2023 onwards will be £10 per student
Standard fees for all students:
1 x 30 minute class per week (for 42 weeks per year) = £22 per month
1 x 45 minute class per week (for 42 weeks per year) = £24.20 per month
1 x 60 minute class per week (for 42 weeks per year) = £26.40 per month
Class Pass fee saver for all students (siblings can be combined):
5 classes per week (for 42 weeks per year) = £120 per month
6 classes per week (for 42 weeks per year) = £130 per month
7 classes per week (for 42 weeks per year) = £140 per month
8 classes per week (for 42 weeks per year) = £150 per month
9 classes per week (for 42 weeks per year) = £160 per month
10 classes per week (for 42 weeks per year) = £170 per month
11 classes per week (for 42 weeks per year) = £180 per month
12 classes per week (for 42 weeks per year) = £190 per month
13 classes per week (for 42 weeks per year) = £200 per month

Vocational Training (Intermediate and Advanced) fees (Invitation only):
1 x 60 minute class per week (for 42 weeks per year) = £35 per month
DDE Training fees:
1 x 60 minute class per week charged per session attended = £15 per session
Private lesson fees:
30 minutes each = £20
60 minutes each = £35

CLASSICAL BALLET
We offer ballet (RAD & Cecchetti) from Pre-Primary to Advanced. Our classes are designed to encourage and motivate students of all ages and abilities. Providing a progressive and fun structure for learning.
MODERN
We follow the ISTD syllabus from Pre-Primary to Advanced. Modern dance is a highly expressive style of dance and the focus of modern dance is expression and performance. Modern dance movements are considered freeform and fluid, and are often inspired by other dance styles—like African dance, ballet, and folk dance. Though modern dance technique is considered more relaxed and natural than ballet, it can require considerable core work and strength. Modern dance is fun, and energetic with plenty of kicks, leaps and turns. Modern dance can be seen in theatres and productions around the world.
TAP
We follow the Imperial Society of Dance (ISTD) syllabus from Pre-Primary to Advanced. Tap dance is a form of dance characterized by using the sounds of tap shoes striking the floor as a form of percussion.
CONTEMPORARY
Our non syllabus contemporary classes introduce students to movement, fun and energy. The classes draw on several contemporary influences and offer students the opportunity to develop choreographic skills, musicality and expression. Classes include lots of energetic movements, fun travelling combinations and floor work while focusing on developing students own sense of style in performance.
PRE-SCHOOL DANCE PROGRAM
READY SET DANCE is a combo class of JAZZ, HIP HOP and a whole lot of fun. This gender-neutral curriculum is the coolest dance class for the preschooler of today!
JAZZ – Develop muscle strength, control and balance and achieve coordination milestones like skipping and sequencing.
HIP HOP – Bust out some ice cold moves just like Freeze to our fresh hip hop tracks that helps children build confidence.
MUSIC. – Develop the musical ear, explore creativity and promote personal mastery with originally composed songs that have musical cues.
PROPS – Have fun on the parachute, being super heroes and balancing your beanbag. These resources support tactile awareness and strengthen fine motor coordination and control.
ACRO DANCE
We follow the Acrobatic Arts syllabus. The program is based on safe and effective progressions with proven results in five divisions of Acro Dance: Flexibility, Strength, Balancing, Limbering and Tumbling. Developed with input from professionals and experts in ballet, modern dance, jazz, contortion, artistic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics, sport acrobatics, yoga, acro yoga, pilates, physiotherapy, hand balancing and more, you will not find a more comprehensive program. Simple thoughtful progressions take the beginner preschool level dancer from log rolls and somersaults to the advanced dancer tumbling effortlessly across the stage!
STREET DANCE/COMMERCIAL
Street dance is a dance style—regardless of country of origin—that evolved outside dance studios in any available open space. The term is used to describe dances in urban context and commercial dance refers to dance often seen in music videos and live pop acts and can include styles such as street, hip hop, jazz and more. Street dance classes allow students to dance freely while developing their own personal sense of style in dance. Classes are upbeat, high energy and fun.
MUSICAL THEATRE
Musical Theatre is a form of theatrical performance that combines singing, dancing and acting. Elements from Musical Theatre can be found in many various forms of performing arts around the world. Students learn how to sing and use different vocal techniques and singing styles alongside learning dance routines to of varying styles from pop to musical theatre. Students can also enjoy learning many aspects of drama through improvisation, role play and performance while gaining confidence and self-esteem along the way. Musical Theatre classes are high energy and action packed and a popular choice for many students.
DANCING ACADEMY AMBASSADOR TEAM
We offer classes for students who wish to be a part of a team to represent our dance school at community events. Our ambassadors come to weekly classes to learn routines for different events in the community calendar such as Christmas Light Switch On, Summer Fetes, Charity events and much more. The purpose of our Ambassador Team is to build a strong sense of community with our dancers and those around us while providing wonderful friendships, great memories and a fantastic work ethic which is useful in all vocations in life.
DANCING ACADEMY COMPETITION TEAM - VALIANT
Dancing Academy offers opportunities for students to be part of a competitive team taking part in dance and performing competitions around the UK. The mission of team Valiant is to build self-confidence and strong character in our young people through dance in a nurturing environment.
